Does a woman need to get a major ablution when she got examined by a male doctor?

Question: I’m pregnant, and I got examined by a male doctor. They say that I have to get a major ablution. Is there any basis for this?

Answer:

There’s no evidence on that you have to get a major ablution after you got examined to a male doctor. The situations that require major ablution are; intercourse, ejaculation and ending of monthly period or puerperality. Getting examined to a male doctor is not one of these situations.
