The Religions

The Glorified Allah commands: “Therefore do not set up rivals to Allah! You know that.” (Al-Baqara/ The Cow 2/22)

 

Everybody is aware of the fact that there is not and can never be anyone similar to Allah. This is why no one made a statue of Him. The worst disease is that of involving intercessors in the relationship that is to be built with Allah. Although there are infinite evidences about Allah, none can be found for the intercessors. Those who believe and worship the intercessors have only one support; the information got from their anterior.

 

Even though, Allah is one, those who are believed to be His mediators are countless. Every population, in accordance to its fantasy has fabricated diverse intercessors. It is assumed that that these intermediaries own some of the characteristics of Allah. They are known to be close to Allah, and they are the ones to whom people become slaves, even before becoming the slave of Allah. Allah is considered a king and they are considered those who are close to Him.

The Glorified Allah commands: “surely, pure religion is for Allah (only) and (as for) those who take wardens besides Him, (says): we serve them so that they make us nearer to Allah.” (Az-Zumar/ The Throngs 39/3)

 

The religions’ names change depending to the intercessors. The Christians’ intercessors are Isa (a.s.), the holy Spirit, Virgin Mary, the apostles together with the founders and the fathers of the churches. The Taoist mediators are Te, Yin-Yang and so on. The idolaters of Mecca considered some angels the daughters of Allah and made their statues to worship.

El-Lat, el-Uzza and el-Manat were the most popular idols of Mecca. As they were considered the daughters of Allah even the names given to them were similar to the names of Allah; el-Lat to Ellah, el-Uzza to El-Aziz, and el-Manat to El-Mennan. 

 

The Glorified Allah commands: “Have you seen the Lat and the Uzza, and Manat, the third, the last? So for you the males and for Him the females! This indeed is an unfair division!” (An-Najm/ The Star 53/19-22)

Islam absolutely denies intercession. The Glorified Allah commands: “And certainly We created man, and We know what his soul whispers him. We are nearer to him than his jugular vein.” (The Letter Qaf 50/16)

 

As Allah is to his human creature closer than his aorta then there is no place for a mediator. Otherwise people are the slave of the mediator, because if this mediator is not happy with his worshiper than he won’t accomplish his requests. For example, let’s think for a person who finds a mediator for his issue with the head of the municipality. From that moment in the eyes of this person the mediator is the head of municipality. Thus he tries to maintain a good relationship with the mediator so that his business with the head of the municipality is fixed.

All prophets called people in being the slave of Allah and no other[1].  In order not be slave to anyone else but Allah is essential not to involve anyone else in the relationship with Him. Muslims are only Allah’s slaves, what gives them maximum freedom.

 

Allah doesn’t forgive the human, He created and provided with everything, if the human becomes the slave of someone else.

The Glorified Allah commands: “Surely Allah does not forgive that a partner be ascribed to Him, and forgives what is besides that to whomsoever He pleases.” (An-Nisa/ The Women 4/48)

 

“ It is not possible for a mortal that after Allah gave him the Book, the wisdom and prophethood, then he could say to mankind: Be my slaves rather than Allah’s. (He would say): Be worshippers of the Lord because of your teaching the Book and your reading (it yourselves).” (Al-e-Imran/The House of Imran 3/ 79)

The only religion that doesn’t accept the involvement of the intercessors between Allah and His human creature is Islam. Those who are out the Islamic path classify themselves according to their intermediaries.
