Can we give Zakat to the mentally disordered?

Question: Can we give Zakat to mentally disordered people?

There is a possibility that mentally disordered people can use the money in the wrong way. Therefore, it is better to give Zakat to their guardians/supervisors on condition of spending for that person’s needs.
