Question: A friend came from abroad to my country. A male Non-Muslim. Can Muslim woman pay him a visit as a gesture?
There is no problem about visiting friends whether they are Muslim or not, but there is problem if you stay with him in an indoor area with no one else is around. Muslims cannot be in a private indoor area with a stranger from opposite sex. This is forbidden. It will only be permissible if someone else accompanies you with him.
